Directory
Since the 2004/2005 school year, the Kingsville Elementary School PTA has published a directory for use by the KES school community.The sole purpose of the directory is to provide contact information for communication between KES students/families, PTA and KES staff. The information included in the directory should not be shared with anyone outside of the Kingsville ES community and should only be used for the purpose it is intended for.
Beginning at Back to School night through mid-September families are given the opportunity to complete the annual Directory Authorization form giving the PTA permission to publish their contact information. The information is used to create class lists and an alphabetical listing. Additional school, PTA and room parent information is also gathered and the directory is created.
The directory is published and distributed to the student body and school staff in the beginning of October. One copy of the directory is provided to each family and is given to the "carrier".
This year's directory was copied on Friday, September 25th, collated on Tuesday and distributed on Thursday, October 1st! Many thanks to everyone who turned in the Directory Authorization forms! This year we had our best participation ever - over 90% of the student body participated! The forms were available at Back to School night, published in the PTA Partners, and available on this website. Preliminary class lists were sent out to the entire student body and students who had not turned in the forms were sent a last reminder notice. As the deadline approached daily updates were made on this webpage to let families know if their form was received. Every possible effort was made to give families the opportunity to be included, but unfortunately a few authorization forms were received when the directory was finalized and in the process of being copied. Unfortunately these students will not be included.
