Committees
- Art Show/Ice Cream Social - provides an ice cream snack during the Art Show which is held in April.
- Beautification/Environmental - organizes approximately 3 events a year to keep the grounds of the Kingsville School beautiful.
- Book Fair - organizes two Scholastic Book Fairs during the school year, one in the spring and fall.
- Cultural Assemblies - supports Kingsville ES staff to arrange for school assemblies.
- Directory - publishes the KES PTA directory.
- Fall Family Involvement - plans the Fall Family Fun Day
- Friends of the Kingsville Library (FOTKL) - provides families an opportunity to donate books to the school library.
- Health Fair Parent Coordinator - works closely with the Kingsville ES nurse in coordinating a health fair directed toward helping our children live safer and healthier lives.
- Hospitality - provides delicious (store-bought) baked goods for various occasions held throughout the school year.
- Incentive Programs- oversees the PTA's involvement in various national programs to raise money and educational items.
- Membership - processes and accounts for all Kingsville Elementary PTA membership dues.
- Newsletter - gathers information from PTA committees to compile an informative newsletter for students and their families about PTA events and programs
- Patriotic Program - organizes a voluntary program for 4th and 5th graders to gain a basic knowledge of the birth of our democracy and freedom.
- Public Relations - sends cards and flowers (when appropriate) for special occasions to show our care and support of teachers, staff, PTA members and families in the Kingsville community.
- Reflections - coordinates the Kingsville ES student involvement in the Maryland PTA Reflections Art Program.
- Santa Shoppe - provides a fun, safe and convenient way for the children to purchase gifts "on their own" for their family and friends before the winter holidays.
- School Improvement Team Liaison - attends SIT meetings with the Kingsville ES administration, teachers and parents and reports the information back to the PTA.
- Special Education - supports parents whose children are receiving or may need special education services and stays involved with special education issues in Baltimore County.
- Spring Family Involvement - plans fun activities that Kingsville families can participate in in the spring.
- Summer Time Enrichment Program (STEP) - provides an opportunity (an activity booklet) for children to maintain their academic skills during summer vacation.
- Teacher Appreciation - organizes events to help the students of the school express their gratitude to the teachers and staff during National Teacher Appreciation Week
- Volunteer - works to match volunteers with PTA committees and faculty who need assistance throughout the school year.
- Ways & Means - coordinates the one and only PTA sponsored fundraiser for the entire school year.
- Website - maintains the PTA website and the weekly e-news message.
