PTA (Parent Teacher Association) comprises more than 5 million parents and other concerned adults devoted to the educational success of children and the promotion of parent involvement in schools. PTA is a registered 501 (c )(3) non-profit organization that prides itself on being a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education. Membership in PTA is open to anyone who is concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children and youth.

PTA is a national organization, and the one advocacy organization that speaks in one voice for all children.

Founded in 1897, PTA is now more than 100 years old and can boast about being the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the nation. The idea is 1897 was simply to improve the lives and futures of all of our children. Today, the idea remains the same.

At Kingsville, the PTA works closely with families, teachers, school administration, and the community. It is our goal to enhance the educational opportunities available to our children. As a local PTA unit, KES PTA is a part of the PTA Council of Baltimore County, the Maryland Congress of PTA, and the National Congress of PTA.

Please consider becoming involved with KES PTA as much as you are able. You are invited to join the Kingsville Elementary School PTA and to become an active part of our organization. KES PTA Business meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the school library. All are welcome.

June 11 - Schools close 3 hrs early
June 12 - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Schools close 3 hrs early.
